AEEC Ops

Privacy policy

Last updated 14 August 2026

This policy explains how Africa Empowering Electrical Contractors (AEEC) uses personal information in AEEC Ops (web at aeec.co.za/OPS) and the AEEC Android app (package za.co.aeec.aeec).

Who we are

AEEC, 573 Breed Street, Montana Park, Pretoria, 0186, South Africa.
Email: info@aeec.co.za

What we collect

  • Account details you or an administrator enter: name, email, role, and login records.
  • Operational data you are authorised to use: timesheets and hours, teams, projects, orders, and related attachments.
  • On the Android app: a device push token so we can send work notifications (for example roll-call reminders).

We do not show ads, and we do not sell personal information.

Why we use it

To run AEEC’s workforce and site operations: sign-in, timesheets, project work, purchasing, and related notifications. Access is limited by your login and role.

Where it is stored

Information is stored on AEEC’s hosting for this product. The Android app talks to https://aeec.co.za/OPS/api over HTTPS. Sign-in tokens expire and can be revoked.

How long we keep it

Account and operational records are kept while they are needed for payroll, site records, and running the business, or until an administrator removes the account.

Your rights

You may ask AEEC to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to lawful records we must keep. Contact info@aeec.co.za. Administrators can also manage user accounts inside Ops.
